BIG OOF - Lee lost a major battle (it’s funny becasue he was origianlly going to try to show off to Britain, but he ended up having to retreat becasue some dood dropped the plans, so Grant could counter his every move.) Any ways, McClellan chased Lee to the mountains, but he didn’t finish the kill. He didn’t cut off the army, so Lincoln fired him (for the last time)
Confederacy officially lost any chance of being supported by a European power
