I went shopping at Masonville place and purchased two articles of clothing. after looking at the tags I discovered the clothes were made in Sri Lanka. Often big clothing retailers outsource their manufacturing to countries with cheaper labour costs and looser labour laws. This is using globalization for econmic benefit and also has a negative environmental impact on the eco system in the manufacturing countries. Big manufactoring facilities spew green house gases into the atmoshpere and assist in global warming and climate change
