Watching the news in my World Issues class is a representation of political globalization. This is because we are able to watch the latest news in the world, all kinds of stories are covered by BBC. With this resource, people around the world are able to stay in tune with events around the world, whether it’s politics or environmental. Globalization of technology and news reporting systems allow us to keep updated with news not happening on our side of the world. Because of the internet, we are able to watch and read news updates from different news websites around the world. AlJazeera, a news outlet, allows my parents to keep up with the news in the Middle East, somewhere important to them. Because of globalization this is possible.
