I was awoken by the alarm on my phone. I own an iPhone. The phone was made in China and thanks to globalization I can live all the way and Canada and own one. This is an example of outsourcing, Apple is a US company that has its products made in other countries. These products are later shipped to consumers like me. Outsourcing allows the company to get cheaper labour, and have lower manufacturing costs.
