21 März 1988 Jahr - Amerasian Homecoming Act
Beschreibung:
The Amerasians were children of Vietnam and Korea born to US fathers. Allows Amerasians to return back to US with their family members as immigrants through refugee privileges. They were kept in the Philippine refugee processing centers for about 6-9 months while they learned English and cultural training before they were allowed to arrive in the US. This increased Vietnamese Amerasian immigration to the US by allowing mixed race identities.
