The Four Minute Men was a national organization of over 75,000 volunteers who gave speeches four minutes long in movie theaters, churches, synagogues, street corners, and anywhere else Americans gathered. The carefully crafted speeches covered a variety of war-related topics including the United War Work Fund, the Fatherless Children of France, food conservation, Liberty Loans, and how public support aided the war.
