These scientists concluded that DNA was replicated semi-conservatively. They used E. Coli to show that when the E. Coli was replicated it contained a portion of both “parents” DNA. As the generations went on, the amount of similarities between the original DNA and the offspring decreased. This experiment was done in 1958.
