Beginning in 2002 and continuing to 2012, the Fourth Generation of leaders in China have been known to represent a “technocratic” style of governance. This style of government is less centralized and allows more freedom to bureaucratic officials. The dominant political ideology is Hu’s Scientific Development Concept.
