World War I concluded on November 1, 1918. Germany signed an agreement for peace that was prepared by Britain and France. The Allies (mainly Britain, France, US) won WW1. Germany was the main loser, along with Austria - Hungary, The Ottoman Empire, and the other Central Powers. The Allied troops created a treaty called the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles was the cause of the outcome of World War 1 because they created the treaty to end World War 1.
