Where scrabble never comes -

Are forced to keep their rooms -
Where tired children placid sleep
Thro' centuries of noon
This place is Bliss - this town is Heaven -

Not Father's bells - nor Factories -
Could scare us any more!
In this poem, Dickinson's view on factories and the industry they represent is fairly clear: they are oppositional to paradise, clearly excluded from a place of "Bliss."
