Starting on July 1916, The Battle Of The Somme lasted for 141 days. This was one of the bloodiest battles Britain went through. On the first day, there were 19,240 casualties were counted for the British troops alone. Within the 141 days, over a million troops from Germany, Britan, and France were either dead, missing in action (MIA), or wounded.
