That morning I woke up found Carl's phone on the floor which had open the questionable text messages to its ex-wife. I proceeded to get the children ready for school as he was still sleeping and I dropped them both off at their school. Came back home will come up and we started to have a discussion about the messages. While we were discussing we had a few things to get done around the trailer which included cutting a box to put over a skylight in our bathroom. I was looking away from Carl while talking due to being nervous , he put his face close to mine asking me to make eye contact during our conversation during that moment is like was laced with the box cutter that was in my hand accidentally causing him to then fall forward and headbutt me. Grandparents woke up to him yelling that he was cut and his grandmother and I proceeded to try to get him in the car to go to the hospital . All well on the phone with 911. I was pulled over while taking him to the hospital which I had notified police that I was doing. He was taken away for surgery and I was arrested.
