The second of June 1875, while Bell and one novice he had enlisted where working in the Harmonic Telegraph, something incredible happened.

The novice was trying to loosen a reed he had accidentally wounded . However, with that gesture, he had sent to Bell, who was working on another room, a vibration he heard. This make him realise that they were able to send sounds between them, and he actually checked it talking to his workmate when he get to the conclusión.
