The intabulation, "Cancion Mille regres," is an arrangement of a vocal piece by Josquin. Notable because it was written to accommodate the way the vihuela works.

"Cuatro diferencias sobre Guárdame las vacas" is a set of variations on a traditional bass progression. Melody is richly elaborated upon, introducing new material with each additional repetition. First recorded instance of instrumental variations.
