After the battle Odysseus still in the hall Penelope sees him there and doesn't believe that it's him and he is a god. While her maid recognizes his scar from the boar's tusk is there. Penelope asks him secret questions that only he would know and she is still a bit wary. While Odysseus tells his house servants to become presentable and he gets a music going in the hall. Odysseus finally convinces Penelope that it's him when he sees his bed from the bedroom that he made for themselves in that specific room. He made the bed out of an olive tree with jewels and precious metals and it was a handcrafted room that Odysseus made for them. After Penelope realizes that its him she cries in his arms and aplogiezes for her actions and he forgives her and Odysseus has reunited him his family.
