In this chapter Salva, has just arrived at land after having been in the boat so long he almost couldn't stay awake. Although Salva and his uncle were well fed by the native villagers, the rest of the people they'd come with had to beg due to their little to no money. Soon after sun set arrived mosquito began to quickly rise from the water. Salva and all of his fellow group members got no sleep and were bitten all over leaving them scratching the welts. I was very surprised to find that none of them go any type of desease form this especially consider over 300 million people suffer from malaria.
