In this point of the novel, during Ishmael's journey, he is currently in the forest, and as he doesn't know where he is going, he starts to adapt in the current environment he is in. He sleeps in trees, he eats only strange fruit, he escapes wild animals such as pigs and he is totally by himself. During his time in the forest, in his solitude, he has an internal conflict with himself as he sometimes started to think about his past life and family, he was in complete boredom. He was alone in the forest for one month, until one day he finds a group of boys which he stays with.
