Ten Commandments are the ten laws God had set for his people to follow.
FIRST COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me”
SECOND COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven
THIRD COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy
FOURTH COMMANDMENT:
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God”
FIFTH COMMANDMENT:
“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee”
SIXTH COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not kill”
SEVENTH COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not commit adultery”
EIGHTH COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not steal”
NINTH COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour”
TENTH COMMANDMENT:
“Thou shalt not covet . . . anything that is thy neighbour’s”
The Ten Commandments impacted the Judo-Christian religion by setting the rules for religious people, and creating an image about one powerful god who is in charge of everything and everyone.
