The mill and bond passed in DougCo. As of today. 5A passed in Jeffco.

My school is starting to experience some consistent discipline practices. Every day is a busy day at work. Parent meetings, student meetings - proactive and reactive occupy my days.

My principal is a wonderful man with lots of school vision; however, has so much on his plate that turning his ideas into reality seems like a dream.

While all of these challenges exist, I still feel like I am pretty fortunate. I was recently examined for some serious health issues as I have been sick for months, and the good news is I don't have lung cancer. I have serious asthma issues, but I thank God that I am overall of good health. My kids are good. My husband has some talent in his basketball program this year and is excited to have our daughter in his program. My little one is loving middle school.

And, despite my recent attitude towards the current state of our Country, white man privilege, and the lack of value we put on education in Colorado, I am mostly pretty content.
