Thompson's most important contribution was the finding of the electron. Thompson found the electron by experimenting with a cathode ray tube. J.J Thompson called his atomic model : "Corpuscles". The name of the experiment that J.J. Thompson made, was called : "J.J. Thompson's Cathode Ray Tube Experiment (CRT)".
