Melanie Bishop - Melanie the Australian scientist focuses on the research of estuarine and coastal ecosystems. In 2010 she won the NSW scientist of the year award. Over the past 10 years, she has also involved over 50 things undergraduate students and interns in her research. Melanie leads a nationally and internationally respected team of 15 researchers at Macquarie University, hailing from Portugal, Italy, the UK, the USA, Canada, India and Australia.
