- Day 267
- Martinez patrols the wall, looking out for biters. One of his men named Rudy Warburton comes to relieve him of his watch and tells him that the Governor wants a word. He asks if Martinez is going to watch the fight tonight but he doesn't know yet.
- Martinez goes across town, occasionally kicking some of his crew's asses who are passing flasks in the alleyways of merchant's row. When he arrives at the Governor's building he gets a feeling of dread. The Governor tells him he has a job for him which Martinez doesn't like the sound of. The Governor lies to Martinez about the strangers, telling him they attacked him and are planning a raid. He tells him about the prison and the riot suits to Martinez's surprise and that Rick is becoming friends with Stevens and Alice.
- He orders Martinez to get to know Rick and act as if he is unhappy with the way Woodbury is being run. And get them to bring him back to their prison so he can find out which one it is.
