7 Nov 1917 Jahr - October Revolution begins
Beschreibung:
There were several parties after the February Revolution. This included the Petrograd Soviet Council of Workers’ Deputies who claimed to represent the workers and their interests. The Soviets were elected councils of workers. Alexander Kerensky, a young man, then became a leader and supported the idea of continuing the war. This made the people angry. Because of this, a new party called the Bolsheviks led by Vladimir Lenin and he hated the war. Because they were against the war, they appealed to many Russians. Lenin fled Russia and the war got worst. Later, party leaders were freed and Lenin returned so that his party could come to power. This started the October Revolution.
