America is now a successful republic, a first world country as well as one of the biggest countries in the world with a big economy. Currently, in politics, the American election happens every 4 years with 2 major parties - The Democrats and the Republicans. A president represents each party and the votes are won by the majority of the state, not majority of people. The current president is Donald Trump. Even though his main opposition, Hillary Clinton, had more votes, Trump won more states, therefore, won the election. Their relationship with England is not as strong as it was in the 1770s. They still have heavy tax in the country, but it doesn’t go to Great Britain. They also have a strong military.
