Now, as both boys are getting into the back of the car, Mr. Kratz speeds into the parking lot with his truck. "Wait!" he cries "Don't take those young men!" When Joey's mom asks why he says that they are just boys and are really good students who don't deserve to have their summer ruined by the one incident. Zach and Joey make up, and Joey gets back together with Leah, thus making everything in his life go back to normal.
