16 Dez 1532 Jahr - Machiavelli, The Prince
Beschreibung:
Machiavelli was an Italian diplomat who wrote The Prince to discuss aspects of political power, which he had possessed, before being sent into exile. It became one of the most read treatises in European history, and detailed how he didn't care much for an ethical ruler; rather, he just cared for a ruler who got the job done, quickly and correctly, but to have Christian morals and acknowledge human nature. This was defining for Europe's national identity because soon, because of this writing, rulers began to adapt this way of controlling their subjects and going into battle.
