It was a very popular home console for Nintendo customers- had a few good games such as Super Smash Bros. However, it lost some support by game producers, who claimed they still backed it in merit. Unfortunately, the Wii U sales were nowhere near as large as that of Super Mario Odyssey or the Nintendo Switch.
