WW1 was brought upon by many things that led up to the war, such as the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. Serbia and Germany started the dispute which brought in many other countries along the way. In the beginning it did not affect America at all because we were idolizing ourselves away from the conflict, but still sending aid to our allies in the battle. We entered the war because of Germany's inability to not kill American citizens. It affected Europe and Asia by them having to deal with a huge enemy, with masses amounts of military force. This was the pinnacle point when America entered the war.
