Super Mario Maker is a Super Mario level editor released for the Wii U in 2015. It lets the player create their own levels and adventures with tools and familiar objects and enemies from the Mario series such as Goombas and Hammer Bros. It was originally announced at E3 2014's Digital Event.

A Nintendo 3DS port titled Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS was released in 2016.
