He was the last model in this series. He heated gases, which resulted in them losing energy and light coming out. He discovered that not all of the colors came out, which meant that there was different layers going around the nucleus. He also believed that;
- Electrons orbit the nuclues.
- Electrons have energy.
- Electrons can jump between orbits, lose
energy, and emit light.
- There is a maximum number of electrons per
orbit.
