The Qin Dynasty was led by Shi Huangdi, who had a huge impact on the dynasty itself. When he was still alive, Huangdi was a respectable emperor. As he led, he created a tightly knit governmental system for the Dynasty, which allowed for easier rule over his society. His significance reigned outside of just his government. He is very well known for attempting to standardize Chinese script as well as the burning of the books. As Confucians and Daoists rose up agains his rule, he proceeded to burn anything concerning philosophy ethics, history, or literature. (2.2)
