- Blutarch Mann invites Radigan Conagher for a meeting. He commissions him to build a Life Extender Machine so he can outlive his brother, Redmond for their land. Radigan agrees and begins work.
- That night Radigan returns to his workshop to find a mysterious woman (assumed name Emily) inside. She tries to convince him not to build the machine which doesn't work so she proposes an alternative.
- She offers Radigan 'Australium' which is a transformative new element responsible for Australia becoming the most advanced civilisation in the world. She gives Radigan one-hundred pounds of it if he builds a Life Extender for Redmond Mann as well.
- The Australium turned Radigan Conagher into a genius. He grew a moustache, Australia shaped chest-hair and preferred to work shirtless.
- As a result of this he created the Frontier Justice, Wrangler, Southern Hospitality and Gunslinger.
