"Fire confined to Irvine's bedroom"

"Saw nothing of Irvine when fire was going on"

"Did not live happily together"

Not lying in their bedroom but the front room. the body could not have been there when I opened the door.

Sugar works factory - watchman saw half naked Irvine enter
Another watchman saw Irvine in the second loft, lighting gas

The house was shut and could not get in nor receive an answer.
