The Irish potato famine was a disease that corrupted the potatoes of Ireland. This had a great affect not only on the country itself but also to it's exporting countries. It caused a lot of people to migrate out of Ireland due to the starvation caused by the famine. It not only affected the health of people but also the economy of Ireland suffered greatly due to the fact that they could no longer export these goods they were known for.
