Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 Genoa, Italy and died on May 20, 1506. Christopher Columbus traveled four trips across the Atlantic Ocean, and the years were from Spain 1492, 1498 and 1502. He was determined that he was going to find direct all water route west from Europe to Asia, and he never accomplished that. Instead he accidentally stumbled upon the Americas, but he began friendship with the Americans and Europeans.
