Based upon the MC SoundJam software, iTunes was a digital media playing service owned by Apple that was initially only on Apple products. But with the release of the music store, where music could be directly purchased, the product spilt over into other devces and revolutionized the way that usic was bought and listened to, completley changing the Music Indistry and adding to the growing resurgence of Internet Buisness
