~ The British Government soon recognized the insignificance of importing fresh product to the Colonies, and immediately ceased to do so.

~ The British Government sustained heavy losses, regarding profit, excessive material, and poor relations.

~ In 1766: Parliment made a calculated decioson to resume imports absent tax.
