In 2012 she was diagnosed with cancer. This made her think to herself, what will happen to my family, my life. In 2013 the whole family went to Punta Cana, at Punta Cana my dad and her got the renewal of vows of 20 years together. Once we got home something happened that changed my life. We found out one of the doctors disregarded an important test a year back, at the time it could’ve been cured. Because of this we had a case and we took it to court, we won the case and received a lot of money , but she still had cancer and money couldn’t cure that. Soon after that her oldest son Sean, my brother graduated from high school but she was to sick to fully experience it.

This is a milestone because it was a changing point in her life. Once she was diagnosed she changed mentally and physically. This made her more spiritual and believe in world beyond, throughout the time. Physically she was growing weak and couldn't do anything becoming frail like glass that could shatter at any time.
