After their travels they settled down and bought their first house in West Allis, Wisconsin. This was followed by another son named Christopher. They continued their travels to Mexico again and also went to the Amazon in South America. Three years later they had me, their third son, Michael. One year later she got her first family pet, a cat named Crush. She named him that because when he was brought home, he Crushed paper airplanes. The house was getting too small, so it was time to move again. My mother found a place in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin to build a new house the way she wanted. The house was built in about 3-4 months, and we all moved in. My mother was very happy. She took care of all the decorating and telling my dad and us how we should help. Soon afterwards, they bought a dog. The family named him Oakly. This name originated from the famous Oakley glasses. My mother didn’t like the name much, though, because when a spanish speaker tries to say Oakley, it seems to come out like “ugly”.

This is a milestone because she had her finnal child and started her loving family who was with her till her last days.
