Portion Size became extremely relevant in 2013. The author believes that ignorance about portion size and different measurements throughout different countries is one of the most prominent causes of the increase in the obesity epidemic. They believe that by educating people about correct portion size and changing food measurements to be consistant all around the world, they can help lower the number of obese people.
