This was a landmark in which the US court declared state laws establishing public schools for black and whites to be unconstitutional. This is important because now the race thing is not as big of a deal considering that both of the races were allowed to go to school together. I am sure there will still problems, but overall the race problem was shut down and finally they were allowed to attend the same school.
