Arriving on a steampunk airship, CE reveals himself to the world, with his famous first words "Good Morning!". That same day, he opens the first "Dark Carnival" in Washington D.C. where people can go and enjoy unlimited shitposts, memes and carnival rides. The man himself is weird, since he always conceals his face in some way or another. During his time on pre-scratch Earth, he wore a simple theater mask, showing a permanent expression of joy. Later on, he would just use advanced space-time shenanigans to blur his face out. Those who saw his real face went insane. Comic Engineer also usually wears a suit and tie, with dress pants, leather shoes, and a walking cane to aid his right leg, which was a prosthetic.
