13 Dez 1892 Jahr - The Film Factory
Beschreibung:
George Albert Smith created the first cinema, printing station and studio. It was based in St. Ann's Well Garden in Brighton. This invention could be called the first ever production set and cinema to function well. Smith used many different features like special effects, superimposition, closeups, scene transitions and focus pulling. These were very significant functions because they have allowed other filmmakers to improve these features. He also invented Kinemacolor in 1906 which was the first ever commercially used cinema with colour. This was also very significant because it proved colour was possible to be used in cinemas and allowed other filmmakers to do the same to help evolve the quality of film.
