Zoey finds Spalding's tongue and re-attaches it. The tongue had been bewitched twice by Myrtle Snow; once to be incapable of telling a lie, and once to keep it from dying after Spalding had cut it off. Zoey found it in a box in a closet, then asks him about what really happened to Madison and how the old supreme really died. Zoey kills Spalding. Unfortunately, he becomes trapped in the house, able to see everything.
