Elsa Mars makes her way to the hospital, where she meets Penny, and offers her a cigarette, and gives her a card, advertising the Freak Show. Elsa convinces Officer Pipes to allow her into Bette and Dot's room with balloons.
Bette reveals they used to live in Alabama.
