The postclassic period corresponds to the period that goes from around the year 900 to 1521. It was a period marked by militarisms and warlike empires.
The economy of the postclassic era was based on the agriculture, to the point that traces of the hydraulic works that were realized in that period are conserved to guarantee the irrigation.
