10 Mai 420 Jahr - Prince Harelsta Karmena is Exiled

Beschreibung:

After the death of his father, King Bïpyola, Harelsta was to become the next King of Oipenta and he was extremely loved by all of Oipenta due to his victories in the War of Galbhan, being called the Hero of Avänta. However because of his great fame, his brother, Paktipa, framed him for raping a woman after the Siege of Teseua Village in order to secure his way to kingship. As rape was a high crime worthy of banishment in Oipenta at the time, the Council of Dukes agreed to bar him from succession and exile him from the Kingdom, thus effectively removing him as a threat to the power of Paktipa.

Harelsta was officially exiled two days before he even heard about the death of his father and before he was able to clear his name, the rumors travelled through the nation, leaving him unwanted. Chosen by the Dukes, he was sent into exile in the Bouran Peninsula, a very dangerous and lawless region in Yueroki at the time. While, the Empire of Boura did exist, after it collapsed, it left the region in absolute turmoil among local dynasties and towns for centuries.
Once he was in Boura, Harelsta made his way up the Shavena River and then up the Patachia River (now the Harel River) and established a cabin around 25-30 miles upstream from the small village of Diha (mod. Devo). He then changed his name to Harelsta Marrica (which was a local word for stranger and what the natives would constantly call him).

When he was initially banished, a decent amount of people, mostly his own soldiers and close friends, believed the rumors to be false and some fought against them, resulting in them being imprisoned or also exiled. Those who were exiled and others who willingly left Oipienta as they did not believe Paktipa was the rightful king joined Harelsta at his cabin. These people, numbering around 30 people, began a small settlement around Harelsta's cabin and after about 10 years, the settlement grew to about 60 people, with a total of 8 of the original settlers dying by then. By the 10 year mark, the settlement began to be known as Harelstaci Sespatha (Village of Harelsta). The village continued to grow, gaining new members from native tribes seeking refuge or new births or from exiled Oipentians as well as Harelsta supporters. Harelsta was elected to be Lord of Harelstaci Sespatha in 436 and then died in 452 during a raid from the Aveci people, he was 59 years old.
