The First USB was invented by the Israeli company 'M-Systems' and was sold to the public the following year by IBM. USBs were first sold in 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, and 64MB capacities.

I chose the USB because it has influenced how information is transferred across many different types of machines and computers. USBs are one of the most convenient methods of storing information, and are one of the more cost-efficient and accessible ones as well.
