6 Sept 1972 Jahr - 6th September 1972 Munich Massacre; at the 1972 Olympic games in Munich, Palestinian terrorist group Black September killed 2 Israeli athletes and took 9 hostage. They demanded the release of 250 Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners held in Israel. The ordeal ends with 5 terrorists being killed but not before they executed the remaining 9 hostages.
