Growing up in San Fransisco led Jun to believe everyone was as open-minded as her and her parents were due to the more relaxed culture. She was always encouraged to follow her dreams and pursue her interests. She found New York a stark difference from San Fransisco. There in New York she pursued her dream of acting after getting a part in a broadway show.
